Lady Jennifer McGhee
Lady Jennifer McGhee was born in Gary, Indiana to Jeffrey & Jerlean Ward. She was baptized at the age of 12 and is a former member of Pilgrim Missionary Baptist Church in Gary. It was there where she met and married her husband Pastor André A. McGhee. They are the parents of two children, Courtney, and Jared.
After graduating from high school, Jennifer enlisted in the Marines and served as a Communication Operator in Washington, D.C. After her service in the military, she continued her education graduating with an Associates Degree in Business Management, and a Bachelor's Degree in Marketing from Purdue University and Indiana Institute of Technology. Jennifer has held several positions as a marketing and sales professional at major global marketing firms and corporate organizations.
She received her teaching certification from Bethel College where she also completed her Master's Degree in Education. Jennifer taught Business Education for several years in South Bend Schools prior to her current Administrator position as the Dean of Students at Jackson Middle School in South Bend.
Though Jennifer is a busy pastor's wife, mother, and educator, she willingly dedicates time to the various ministries in the church. She is President of the Minister Wives & Deaconess ministry at GSJ and 1st Vice President of the NIMBDA Minister Wives & Deaconess. She is one of the Supervisors of God's Jewels (Girls Leadership Group) and also serves on the Multi-Media Ministry as a Website Administrator. Finally, she is the Advisor for the Women's Day Committee.
Jennifer's love for the Lord is evident in how she relates to the people she meets. She has a strong passion to help young people excel in life. She also has a soft spot for the elder members of the church and enjoys visiting the sick when time allows.
In her spare time, she enjoys creative writing, reading, and spending quality time with her family.
